As your influence grows, so will the diversity of your audience. For example, GFT’s original target audience was soccer players. As the message and core audience grew, so did they types of followers: soccer players, soccer parents, soccer coaches, soccer trainers and soccer professionals. These expanded into soccer bloggers, soccer reporters, college and pro influencers. But GFT’s core group and message stayed the same.
