Establishing boundaries

If you’ve ever been to a construction site, you might notice small wooden stakes, perhaps with bright ribbons of color attached to the end, planted in the ground. You might also see some more wooden stakes with string wound around each one, tied together closer to the house. These are used to communicate the boundary lines for the landowner, neighbors and construction workers. Boundary markers tell others where ownership begins and ends. In business, boundaries keep you focused on great things based on your strengths instead of good things that are not best for your goals.
